Finding common ground...For the better part of the last eighteen years Doug and I have been on a quest
for "meaningful" living. We married after graduating from Asbury Theological Seminary thinking we would do
something special for God. So here we are in our forties, after having been involved in youth ministry, para-church
ministry, mission work , and pastoral ministry... still hoping to do something special for God. We have learned something
over the course of our journey... if you serve another human being with honesty, and integrity than you are serving God.
That's it. It's not about your title, your address, your income, or your social circle. It doesn't
matter if you are cleaning your house, or traveling the globe...you can do something for someone.
So why do we call ourselves "Commonground Services"? Our walk of faith has led us to believe that
God changes the world one person at a time, one relationship at a time, one family at a time, and so on, and so on.
Relationships are built on the common ground that unites two or more people. When our lives intersect God promises to
be with us. And that means, what we do, and who we are, is indeed very meaningful.
Whether we find common
ground through our suffering, our celebrations, or our tasks, we hope to serve you soon.
